A huge thanks to KDA Senior, Mia Kovalik, who designed this year’s EOYP shirts! She did an incredible job with this year’s theme “Legends and Icons of Music”. It’s such a fun treat to see all our dancers proudly wearing them around the studios and throughout our time in the theater next week!

🎉For our final KDA Senior Shout Out, we have Molly Boylan!🎓

Molly is a senior at Owen J. Roberts, and has been dancing with Kimberton Dance Academy since 2012. Throughout her years with KDA she has tried every style of dance offered, but has spent most of her time focusing on ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz and hip hop. Molly is also a member of KDA’s performance company, and was in SVRDC’s production of the Nutcracker this past winter. She is incredibly grateful for the guidance and lessons she has learned from her teachers, blessed for her family for always being her biggest fans, and is forever thankful for the friendships she has made through dance. She will be continuing her education next year at West Chester University, and looks forward to the opportunities the future holds!

Congratulations Molly! Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors!🎉

🎉Next up for our KDA Senior Shout Outs, we have Mia Kovalik!🎓

Mia is a senior at Perkiomen Valley High School and has studied at Kimberton Dance Academy since the age of seven, where she learned various styles including ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and contemporary. Additionally, she has trained and studied alongside the Rock School for Dance Education and the School of Philadelphia Ballet for summer intensive programs. During her time training at KDA, Mia discovered her passion for dance and expanded her involvement at the studio by becoming a Performance Company member. She also performed for many years in SVRDC’s The Nutcracker, an experience she will forever hold close to her heart.
As this is Mia’s final year of high school, she plans to continue her dance education by attending the University of South Carolina for a dual degree in Dance Performance and Fashion Merchandising & Digital Innovations. Mia would like to express her deep gratitude to her teachers Miss Brittany, Mr. Tim, Miss Kristina, Miss Heather, Mr. Mike, and Miss Angie for their guidance and inspiration in coaching her journey as a dancer and giving her a loving childhood in her dance life. Mia would not have found her true passion in dance if it weren’t for these amazing teachers and their immense support as she takes her next steps as a dancer. She would also like to thank her family and friends for their unwavering support in helping her follow her passions and aspirations in pursuing dance in college and before, especially her parents for every sacrifice they have made to help Mia grow. Finally, Mia cannot express enough how thankful she is for the family she has found at KDA—all the dancers who have truly made Kimberton a second home where she is blessed to share the stage with them as she takes her final bow.

Congrats, Mia! We are so excited to see what the future holds for you!🎉
