Some custom pieces carry a story that goes far beyond the gemstones💙🌷
This 14K rose-gold ring was made around a 2.42ct. Concave-cut Montana Sapphire and three natural Padparadscha Sapphire pears, custom cut and color-matched by Jim to form a tulip.
Every detail carries meaning. The knife-edge side represents the fallopian tube she still has, and echoes her mother's engagement ring. The tulip-representing infertility-grows from the side where her other tube was removed. Each of its three stones honors a loss she and her family have experienced.
The asymmetry, the sweeping gold, and the little flower were all intentional. Being trusted with a piece this personal is an honor.
