The Inland Empire Gardeners is a super active, 20-year old, garden club that has over 400 members and is based in Spokane, Washington. We have loads of fun: monthly garden tours or events, guest speakers at our meetings (the first Thursday of every month (except Dec) at Center Place, 2426 N. Discovery Place, 6:30pm (west of the Spokane Valley Mall, across from YMCA). We are also involved in many c
ommunity activities including the Garden of the Month Contest, Garden Expo, Plant a Row for the Hungry, My Bag Program for Spokane’s foster kids, YWCA Safe House for Victims of Domestic Violence, SpokAnimal. TIEG’s primary purpose is to create a fellowship, an extended family of people who love to garden and want to share this in friendship. We want to exchange experiences and ideas of the joys and trials of gardening in our area. We believe people who love to garden also have pride in their homes and devotion to their families. We believe people who love to garden also love nature and love life. Our club celebrates friendship, homes and gardens, families, nature, and life.
