We're the largest and most active professional performing arts organization in the Inland Pacific Northwest. Our performing home is Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox, originally built in 1931 as an art deco movie palace and renovated and reopened in 2007 as a regional performing arts center. The theater building is on the National Register of Historic Places and the renovation received an Honor Award in 2010 from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The Box Office is located just inside the Sprague entrance of Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox, 1001 Sprague Avenue in downtown Spokane (at Monroe). Box Office hours are Monday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm. For information about our concerts, please visit www.spokanesymphony.org. The Box Office is located on the Sprague Avenue side of the theater. If you've purchased tickets for pickup at Will Call, you'll want to use the First Avenue side of the theater. Last month at The Library ✨🎻
The Lullaby Project Celebration Concert was a meaningful and joyful event attended by nearly 175 people, more than double last year’s audience. An ensemble of SSO musicians and choral members performed classical lullabies, followed by a Music Together segment led by Heather Villa. The four original lullabies created with families from Joya, Lumen High School, and the Salish School featured moving performances and were orchestrated by SSO’s Assistant Principal 2nd Violin, David Armstrong. The audience and families were enthusiastic about the performance, and many participated in the Instrument Petting Zoo afterward.
