SUBMISSIONS CLOSE TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT. Submit short poems, stories, and original black and white art to foray! There’s a link in our bio or email them to us at [email protected]. We’ll be collecting submissions to create single prints, broadsides, and a collective zine that will be for sale to provide donations for organizations providing relief for the fires.

We will be selling these this Friday, Aug 7th from 5-8pm at Splat CoOp and Blue Door Theatre. More information about the event below:
Before wildfires (exacerbated by climate change and gutted resources) swept across Spokane County, we had planned a First Friday event. That event is still happening, but we’re changing direction slightly. Rather than a celebration of artists, we’re coming together as a community to support our neighbors who have been displaced and effected by this crisis.
Join us FRIDAY, AUGUST 7th from 5-8pm.
There will be
• live music from CIRCUS N0THING and egggaxing
• short poems for sale with Foray for The Arts
• zines, stickers and tea from Lunarium folks
• art for sale
Proceeds raised will be going directly to the organizations providing support to wildfire victims and their families, and first responders actively fighting to ensure all of our safety.
If you can’t provide monetary support, but still want to help, you can bring donations of
• hygiene products
• pet supplies
• childrens/baby items (diapers, wipes, clothing, toys, SHOES AND SOCKS)
• food donations
• clothing (specifically PACKAGED underwear, socks, tank tops/T-shirts)
• blankets
• N95 Masks
• water
We all want to help how we can, but running on fumes and putting yourself at risk is NOT THE WAY TO DO IT. Donate what you can, provide support where you can, but make sure you’re safe (physically and mentally) while you do it.
We’ll see you Friday, Spokane. We love you. Be safe, be strong, stay connected.
