Throw back Thursday!

Spokane Children's Theatre found a permanent home in 2012! The leaders and volunteers took an industrial building in the Gonzaga Prep area and created a beautiful theatre home. Donors from all over the community donated materials and financial support, making it possible to continue the SCT legacy and have a consistent location to bring live theatre to Spokane!

Reminder to Save the Date for November 14 for our 80th Season Fundraiser and Alumni Celebration.

Join Dahlia in a welcoming, kind, and encouraging environment as you gain skills in Musical Theatre Dance!

Musical Theatre Dance is about more than learning choreography, it is about building the skills and confidence you need to walk into an audition feeling prepared and comfortable.

At auditions, you may be asked to learn choreography quickly, move with a group, pick up new steps, perform with confidence, and show your personality while you dance. These are skills that take practice!

This will give course participants a truly unique challenge in experimental theatre. The class will learn a variety of 2-minute plays that range from comic to tragic to downright absurd. The course ends with two performances in which the cast does not know in advance what order the plays are performed, but rather the audience chooses for them.

Thank you to our incredible community of the past and present!

We can guarantee these are not the only locations that welcomed Spokane Children’s Theatre over the years. There are also countless places that opened their doors to us for rehearsals before we ever made it to the stage, finding a record of all locations has been difficult.

This is such a beautiful example of what the arts are about. Community, collaboration, and supporting one another.

School is just around the corner, which means that fall classes are now open for registration!

Ensemble members are the breath in any show. They support the story, title characters, and are vital for a successful production. Without the ensemble, a show can feel flat and empty. Their energy, talent, and presence are what make the story truly come alive.

Join top performer Selma Rhodes as she shares her secrets to bringing your character to life and becoming a confident, diverse ensemble member.
