I'll admit! I got lost in the rush of learning a new hobby and the dream of making garb. Dove head first in wanting to become a vendor and sell wares at faires! And realized... I couldn't remember the last time I made something not for sale. Something for myself!
Younger me would be so proud. Still boggles my mind that I figured it out and taught myself to sew costumes and more.
Created 2 more items for my costume rotation (yes it has its own side of the closet) and a lesson in slowing down and there's nothing bad about making stuff for yourself sometimes

Time is ticking down to the big Spokane Renaissance Faire! Project Manager Valentine is not impressed by the empty basket of finished Dice Trays & bags.
So we will be making use of the long weekend and fill it up! I have a dozen that just needs their buttons.

It was Fate! I've been eyeballing this painting from Evermore Market for multiple events now! This is the 2nd thing I've purchased from her booth. I just couldn't pull the plug until today. Before it started I knew she would be at the and I told my aunt I was gonna get it no matter what today.
We got so swamped that neither of us could step away all day to look at other vendors.
I thought forsure my hobbit home painting was gone. On my way to my car to pull it to my booth and load up. I see her! I rush over just as she was packing up and there it was... the painting I'd been dreaming off for ages!
And what happens to be the name?!?

I'm so happy. It was the perfect gift for myself after my first successful Renaissance Faire as a vendor.
