This week, Gonzaga University hosted the NW ACDA conference, which gave members of GU Choirs the chance to meet other stellar musicians in the region. On Wednesday night, Concert Choir sang with five other schools in the Collegiate Showcase Concert. All six choirs combined to perform Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms with an orchestra, conducted by André Thomas. Glee club also performed for members of the conference on Thursday. Have you gotten your tickets yet for our Annual Candlelight Christmas Concert? This year, the concert, titled, A Light in the Darkness will feature the the Gonzaga treble, bass, Jazz and Concert Choirs, as well as singers from the Big Bing Theory and the St. Aloysious Catholic School Choir. Through familiar holiday favorites and timeless choral melodies, we explore how hope and light find their way, even during the darkest of times. Join us in the Myrtle Woldsen Performing Arts Center December 9th at 7:30 p.m. and December 10th at 2:00 p.m. Discounts are available for students and seniors. Seating is reserved.

This holiday weekend, GU choirs is thankful we got to share music with a few Glee club alumni. These members sang under the direction of Lyle C. Moore, who is now honored with a scholarship that allows students to pursue their love of music in college. Pictured here are some Lyle C.
