Four years ago, Natasha took a leap, became the owner of this beautiful downtown Spokane event space, and gave it a new name: The Boxcar Room.

Since then, these brick walls have seen a LOT of life—weddings, first dances, milestone birthdays, company parties, fundraisers, celebrations of life, packed dance floors, heartfelt toasts, a few happy tears…and probably more glitter than Natasha would prefer.

But the best part of the last four years has been the people who have filled this room. To every couple, family, company, vendor, friend and guest who has walked through our doors: thank you for being part of The Boxcar Room story. We can't wait to see what year five brings.

A love story with a very fitting theme. 📚 Tony & Sarah celebrated their wedding at The Boxcar Room and as two people who love to read, they found the sweetest way to bring a little bit of themselves into the details—using books as part of their table décor. Personal touches like these are always our favorite.

Proof that an elopement can still feel incredibly special.

Jose & Hannah kept things simple and classy—they said “I do” at the courthouse, then came to The Boxcar Room with their parents, maid of honor, and best man for a Prosecco toast, photos, and 90 minutes of celebrating together. No big reception. No elaborate timeline. Just the newlyweds and a few of their favorite people soaking in the moment. Months later, they went on to have their larger ceremony, but we love that they made their official wedding day feel like an occasion, too.

Slow season has officially gone to Genna’s head. 😅 With fewer events on the calendar, she’s had way too much time—and way too much edible glitter—on her hands. So naturally, everything at The Boxcar Room became fair game.

The bar? Glitter.
The decor? Glitter.
Random objects that absolutely did not ask for it? Also glitter.

And then she tried to glitter Natasha, which may have been her boldest move yet. 😂 Genna believes everything is better with a little sparkle. Natasha strongly disagrees.

Casino tables, handcrafted cocktails, incredible food, and a room full of friendly competition—we’d call that a successful summer party!

A huge thank you to our client for celebrating with us at The Boxcar Room! It was so much fun watching everyone try their luck at the casino tables from Entertainment Warehouse, while Genna kept the cocktails flowing and Spokane Food & Events served up a fantastic food.

Some people buy fun gadgets. We bought a laser level to make sure every chair is perfectly lined up. 😅

Will anyone notice? Probably not.
Will it make us happy? Absolutely.

It’s the little details that make a great event, even if we’re the only ones admiring perfectly straight chair rows.
