Community Update from Shibari Is The Way:
Over the past several days, our team experienced the same uncertainty and disruption that many families across our community have faced due to the recent wildfire.
When evacuation orders were issued, we made the decision to temporarily pause Shibari Is The Way operations so we could focus on the safety of our family, and our animals. We evacuated quickly, taking only the essentials and leaving behind our home and business responsibilities without knowing when or if we would be able to return.
For several days, our neighborhood remained closed, and we joined countless others in waiting for updates while staying with family. During that time, we postponed projects, delayed communications, and put our normal operations on hold.
We are incredibly grateful to share that we have now returned home. While our house was filled with heavy smoke odor, there was no fire damage. We have power and internet restored and are in the process of airing out our home and getting back to normal.
As we reconnect and catch up, please know that SITW is officially back online and returning to regular operations. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and support during this unexpected interruption.
Most importantly, this experience has reminded us that community is everything. We are deeply thankful to everyone who checked in, offered assistance, and extended kindness during such an uncertain time.
Our hearts go out to all of the families affected by the fire, especially those who remain displaced or are still waiting for answers about their homes and loved ones.
