Thanks everyone who stopped by the open house for the art show at shotgun studios last night! Here are a few pics of some of some the art by our amazing artists. Thanks to my friends who remember to document moments/ take photos, or I wouldn’t have these. 💗

Here’s a little bit about the artist:

Ferran Thomas is a self-taught mixed media artist from Spokane, Washington. Her work spans across many mediums including digital, watercolor, acrylic, and oil painting. She received her Associates in Fine Arts from Spokane Falls in 2021. Her art tends to be focused heavily on portraiture and the natural world. Her belief is that it is often easier to connect to a piece if you see yourself reflected in it. Many of her works possess a dream-like quality; the goal is to shift an otherwise ordinary image’s perspective just enough to make the viewer take a second glance.

We are looking for artists to be featured at the wave Spokane in the coming months. Feel free to send us some images of your work. We are open to photos, paintings, and other mediums.

We have been curating and helping artists sell their work for a few months now, and it’s mostly a labor of love on our part. 👩‍🎨💕

This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with doing shows if you are an emerging artist.

We are excited to be open for submissions again! can’t wait to see what you send our way.
