So, I apologize I have not posted or updated the page in awhile. My family has dealt with Covid plus other viral yuck brought home from public schools, a trip via ambulance to the ER for me because of extremely low BP and severe anemia (still working on cause, seeing a he otolaryngologist next week) in addition to my normal physical struggles of my day to day limitations due to my personal health issues. My total overhaul of the fish room is almost done though and as soon as it is I will post pictures and a video to show it off. I had to hire help to do the bulk of it because I simply could not. I just need to finish up the details as soon as I have enough stored up spoons to do so (spoon theory, a good read on google.
I haven’t had much coming in lately since I have had to empty most of my tanks for the remodel and I’m slowly putting them back together. Fortunately I never stopped running any of my filters, I moved them to tanks that were not being moved to keep them established so the tanks will be cycled at warp speed.
I do spend a lot of time resting since my low BP episodes and anemia are still an issue and I do get quite weak at times, so in the meantime, if anyone would like me to write an article about an aquatic subject they would like more information on please leave suggestions on this post, I’d love the assignment!
Please stick with freshwater as I’m useless with saltwater. But if you are interested in learning about saltwater I will share a page for you to ask any questions you have that have very knowledgeable group experts.
These are some pictures of what is complete in the fish room.
The 300 gallon goldfish pond (still working on more details on/ in the pond)
The 125 gallon African cichlids tank known as Davie’s Locker, it got taken apart and moved to a new location in the room.
The 125 gallon South American cichlids tank. (they were waiting for their upgrade and got the spare 125 after the goldfish were moved
