The Most Effective Foam Rolling Approach has 3 elements
A simple and effective approach for improving mobility and reducing muscle tension is:
Massage Gun (Vibration Therapy) – Start with 1–2 minutes per area to increase circulation and relax the nervous system.
Foam Rolling – Follow with slow, controlled foam rolling over the target muscles for 30–60 seconds per area.
Stretching – Finish with static stretches, holding each stretch for 30–60 seconds to take advantage of the improved tissue tolerance and range of motion.
This progression helps prepare the body by reducing sensitivity first, then addressing tissue quality, and finally reinforcing new movement ranges through stretching.
