I’m in a different time zone so obviously I won’t be there to host trivia tomorrow night, but the ducky on my beer can reminded me that Sam is hosting tomorrow night and it should be fun for everyone. I’ll be back next week, and the players choice round is “cults and secret societies.” If any of you start a cult in the next few days,
let me know so I can include your new cult in the round. I hope everyone is having a great July, catch you soon.

Guess what everybody! Trivial things is back! Hopefully everyone had a great spring break. Also... halloween is coming early this year as the player's choice round is about Stephen King's works. There's nothing quite like a little murder and mayhem right before Easter. As always the fun begins at 6:30, so make sure to assemble your team and get to Humble Abode early enough tomorrow to get a table. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone... good luck!!

It's that time again. I just put the final touches on another round of trivia in preparation for tomorrow evening. The players choice round this week is all about Riverfront Park in downtown Spokane. Sounds easy, right? Not if I have anything to say about it. :evil grin: The weather is supposed to be beautiful tomorrow evening, and with a bit of luck we may be able to open up the garage door. As always, the fun starts at 6:30 so gather your teams and get to Humble Abode early enough to secure a table. It promises to be a fun one, I'll see you all there. Good luck!!!

Jack be nimble, Jack be quick. Jack jumped over the candle stick. Dear, oh dear, he should have jumped higher. Goodness gracious, great balls of fire!! The players choice round this week is about nursery rhymes. It's a good thing there are only a few, they never change, and there is no room for interpretation. It should be an easy round! Gather up your posses and let's all meet up at the watering hole (Humble Abode) Wednesday evening to chat about some trivial things around the proverbial campfire. If you listen closely to Rihanna's Diamonds song, she doesn't sing "shine bright like a diamond," to my ear it sounds more like "shine bright like manganotantalite." It just rolls right off the tongue. The players choice round this week is about gems, minerals, and crystals... you know, vengeful spirit shields and aura brighteners. As always, it should be a great time at the ol' Humble Abode. It's always fun, but it's going to get really fun at 6:30. Grab your teams and get there early enough to get a table. Here we go again! This week there are *two* players choice rounds. Beer Soaked Oreos initially picked "Al Capone," but I wasn't quite feeling it and asked them for a second choice. They picked "Golden Girls" and I agreed. Then I thought about it some more and thought Al Capone could be a pretty fun round after all, so I decided to write BOTH. It should be a fun pre-Valentine's Day night of trivia. Leave your Tommy guns at home, you can buy legal beer at Humble Abode Brewing. The fun starts at 6:30 on Wednesday evening. I just put the finishing touches on this week's trivia round. The players choice round this week is about legendary filmmaker David Lynch. His stuff may be a bit... umm... unusual, but he definitely pushed the envelope in the field of cinema. Also, did you know he lived here in Spokane for a few years when he was a child? I love finding little connections like that. Come on down to Humble Abode Brewing tomorrow evening to learn a few more trivial things! Gearing up for trivia again. This time the players choice round is Keanu Reeves. He's an interesting guy. Did you know he was in a movie with his close friend River Phoenix, and he was in a different movie with River's brother Leaf Phoenix (now known as Joaquin Phoenix)? Did you know there was a short lived cartoon based on Bill and Ted called Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures that lasted only 13 episodes, and that Keanu was named by Time magazine as one of the world's 100 most influential people? Whoa! None of these little tidbits will help you much, but if you meet me at Humble Abode Brewing tomorrow evening at 6:30, you might just learn a juicy new tidbit or two. I was shook, maybe even a little salty, when "teen slang" was chosen for the players choice round this week, but this round is going to be lit. Grab your bae, your boo, and your besties and come flex your skillz at Humble Abode Brewing tomorrow evening at 6:30 with some gucci trivia action irl. I think at this point my attempts to utilize modern slang is lowkey (or perhaps highkey) big yikes. I give up... I'll see you tomorrow evening. Good Luck!

It's that time of the week again... time for some trivial things. If you're saying to yourself "I'm not throwing away My Shot," Meet Me Inside Humble Abode Brewing for some serious trivia fun Wednesday at 6:30. You can write your own Story of Tonight, but you might want to bring along your Right Hand Man if you don't want to feel Helpless. The players choice round this week is Hamilton: An American Musical.
