ADD YOUR NAME: Sign the petition of support for ICSVPAC!

From pandemic related cost escalations to traditional financing limitations, the performing arts center project has been far from easy. However, we remain committed to exploring every option available. The last stone to be overturned is a municipal bond opportunity with the City of Spokane Valley.

Baker Tilly, a top 10 global advisory, tax and assurance firm recently completed an independent analysis of our financials. The report was exceptionally favorable and confirms our ability to service the required municipal bond payments that would allow us to complete the ICSVPAC.

Now is the time to demonstrate widespread community support for this regional legacy to Spokane Valley City Council. Sign the petition of support here: https://c.org/GZDth7Gqyc

*Note: After signing the petition, you may disregard any prompts requesting donations to the Change.org platform by selecting the "skip' option at the bottom of your screen. These contributions are not required and do not directly benefit the project.*

One of our most-asked questions:

"Why is the minimum investment in SEMBLE $100,000? Couldn't you have more investors and raise more money if that amount was lowered?"

Individuals interested in investing in the performing arts center project can do so through the nationally recognized 'SEMBLE' investment platform. Our 'SEMBLE' goal of $15MM in total would ensure construction of ICSVPAC can be completed. To take advantage of investing in the project, a minimum of $100,000 is required (you get all of your money back plus up to 5% interest).

The minimum investment amount has to do with regulations by the SEC (U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission). Let us explain...

Due to Regulation D, private securities like ours are limited to "35 non-accredited investors." Therefore, the project size of ICSVPAC warrants the $100,000 minimum for all investors, accredited and non-accredited, in order to both reach our SEMBLE goal and not exceed the limit of 35 non-accredited investors.

WHAT IS AN ACCREDITED INVESTOR?
An accredited investor has the following...

● Income: An individual income over $200,000 ($300,000 if married) in each of the last two years, with the reasonable expectation to do so again this year.

● Net worth: A net worth over $1 million, either individually or with a spouse,
excluding the value of your primary residence.

● Professional certification: Individuals holding certain financial licenses, such as a Series 7, 65, or 82, are considered accredited investors regardless of their income or net worth. Corporations, Foundations, Non-profits, etc. are accredited so long as they have assets over $5 million and were not formed to acquire the securities.

Unaccredited investors = everyone else.

As we continue raising funds to complete the ICSVPAC, we are committed to transparency. The facility is currently 19% complete (paid for in cash).

We know that any thriving community must have a robust arts and culture scene. ICSVPAC will uplift the performing arts and generate lasting economic impact for the entire region.

Will you help us reach the finish line? We have the potential for a $5MM match, if we can raise another $3MM through SEMBLE by the end of this year.

A potential $5MM match to help complete our building?!

What does that look like? In order for us to be considered to receive that - we need to raise $3MM by Christmas. We already have $2MM committed through a generous donor gifting us $1MM and another $1MM pledged in investing through SEMBLE.

The potential match is a way for us to maximize investments and donations dollar for dollar. If you’re keeping track of the math - hitting the $5MM AND obtaining the $5MM match by Christmas leaves us with starting the New Year off with a goal of raising $5M to get the wheels in motion to complete construction.

A reminder that the capital campaign has been extended, but through January 30 only.

In search of… a superhero!

Quite a few of you have asked us if we’ve reached out to billionaire MacKenzie Scott as we seek donors and investors to complete our building. Scott is well known for her philanthropy and ‘saving the day’ for non-profit organizations. Her generosity is inspiring, legendary and has revolutionized philanthropy. She is a real-life Superhero!

Finding a way to get on her radar is easier said than done. We’ve tried, but understandably, she’s not an easy woman to track down. So, here’s where you come in: if you’re reading this and know her or know a way we can get in touch with her, please message us. Or feel free to share this post. We’re leaving no stone unturned as we work to finish the performing arts center - which is 19% complete (paid for in cash). Our mission is to build a Beacon of Light in the region that will impact generations to come!

Spreading the Wealth:
Creating a Vibrant Valley for All

RESTAURANTS: For every show ticket purchased, an average $14.81 is spent on food and drink. That’s $740,500 to local restaurants with a projected 50,000 patrons our first year. (Americans for the Arts Study)

HOTEL STAYS: Last summer, SVST’s reporting showed approximately 500 local hotel stays. That projects to 2000 annually for a year ‘round facility. (Audience View)

CONSTRUCTION IMPACT: For every $1 spent on construction, $3 goes back into the economy. That amounts to $96 million over a 2-3 year construction period. (The Bureau of Economic Analysis)

The state of Washington is supporting the project with a recent allocation of $2M in grants. Working together, we can reach our goal!

Additionally, we’ve raised $2M of our $15M goal through investing in ‘SEMBLE.’ We have a new deadline of January 30th to reach that goal.
