Spokane Renaissance Faire

Spokane Renaissance Faire The Pacific Northwest’s fastest-growing Renaissance Faire. Knights. Taverns. Jousting. Music. Fantasy. Chaos. Community. It is I, your king. Henry VIII. Huzzah!

Join 20,000+ guests this October for a weekend you’ll talk about all year long. A Royal Message from King Henry VIII

Good day my loyal subjects. And as your anointed sovereign, the wellbeing of my people is foremost on my mind. Now I know what you may be thinking, “But he is a king! What could he possibly know how us common folk have suffered these many years?” Well, let it be of some comfort to

know that I too feel your pain. I myself have grown tired of sitting alone, staring at my tapestried walls. Of wasting away many an hour endlessly scrolling through messages in the library, or mindlessly watching whatever entertainment comes streaming through my great hall. Let’s just say the choices aren’t as prime as they used to be. And like you, I’ve had enough! I’m fed up with sulking! I’m finished with sitting about on my gout! Let there be music! Let there be revelry! I wish for there to be pastime with good company so that all the kingdom may regain its good cheer. I therefore decree that in the year of our lord October 4th & 5th, 2025, all villages must have festivals to brighten spirits! Queen Katherine and a small entourage, will be traveling to visit her good friend the Viscountess Lady Rebecca and will make a personal appearance in the town of Bainbridge. This is the 12th year of grand festivities and we are expecting the usual jousts, turkey legs, and large array of merchants and performers. I do, however, expect a bit more pomp and circumstance on the weekend of this visit with unique vendors and entertainment. My heralds will be sending notifications and posting updates on the Book of Faces as well as our web page, so please follow along, The Queen looks forward to meeting you where chivalry comes alive!

One of the strangest things about Faire is how quickly people stop feeling like strangers.

You start talking while waiting for a show. You share a table because there isn't another one available. You compliment someone's costume.

A few minutes later you're swapping stories like you've known each other for years.

There are a lot of reasons people come to Faire, but the people are the reason so many keep coming back.

Somewhere between the music, the marketplace, and the conversations you never expected to have, a lot of people end up finding a community they didn't know they were looking for.

⚠️ PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT ⚠️

As the Spokane Renaissance Faire continues to grow, we have observed an increase in reports throughout the Renaissance Faire and live event community of individuals impersonating event officials, claiming affiliation with organizations, selling unauthorized tickets, and distributing inaccurate information online. We have also recently encountered an instance involving our own organization.

To help protect our community, vendors, performers, volunteers, and attendees, we want to clarify how official Spokane Renaissance Faire and Spokane Entertainers Guild representatives communicate.

The individuals pictured in this post are the current official department managers, directors, and board members authorized to speak on behalf of the Spokane Entertainers Guild in an official capacity.

While many volunteers, vendors, performers, and community members share information about our events, official organizational policies, decisions, announcements, and guidance should be verified through one of the representatives listed here. If you receive conflicting information from any source, we encourage you to contact one of our official representatives directly for clarification.

All official organizational communications will come from one of the following email addresses:

If you receive communications from anyone claiming to represent the Spokane Renaissance Faire or Spokane Entertainers Guild from an email address other than those listed above, please consider those communications unofficial and verify them with an official representative before acting on the information provided.

Additionally, all official Spokane Renaissance Faire tickets are sold exclusively through Eventeny. We do not authorize third parties to sell tickets on our behalf. If someone contacts you claiming to have official tickets available for sale outside of Eventeny, please proceed with caution and verify the information with an official representative before making a purchase.

We are also aware of the spread of misinformation regarding our organization, events, and leadership. If you ever have questions about policies, procedures, event details, volunteer opportunities, entertainment, vendors, or any other aspect of our organization, we encourage you to contact one of our official representatives directly. We are always happy to provide accurate information and answer questions.

If you are ever unsure whether information is legitimate, please contact us before making purchases, submitting applications, sharing personal information, or making event-related decisions.

Everybody arrives at Faire with a list.

The show they want to see. The shop they want to visit. The food they want to try.

Then something unexpected happens.

A performer catches their attention. A conversation lasts longer than planned. A random turn down a path leads to the thing they end up talking about all year.

The funny thing about Faire is that your favorite part is rarely the thing you came looking for.

It's usually the thing you didn't know you needed.

In 9 days, the conversation changes.

Right now, Early Bird tickets for the Spokane Renaissance Faire are still available at the lowest price they'll be all season.

On July 1st, that pricing disappears.

The funny thing is that most people who attend Faire this year already know they're going. They just haven't gotten around to buying their tickets yet.

Nine days has a way of becoming three days. Three days has a way of becoming tomorrow.

If the Spokane Renaissance Faire is already on your calendar this October, now is the best time to secure your tickets.

Early Bird pricing ends July 1st.

Ask ten Fairegoers what their favorite part of the weekend was and you'll get ten different answers.

The funny thing is, it's rarely the thing they expected.

Sometimes it's a performer they stumbled across by accident. Sometimes it's a shop they almost walked past. Sometimes it's a conversation that lasted longer than it should have.

That's part of the magic.

No matter how much you plan your day at Faire, some of the best parts tend to find you instead.

At some point, someone in your group is going to say, "We should probably head out."

Nobody listens.

There's still one more show to catch. One more stop in the marketplace. One more conversation. One more thing you don't want to miss.

An hour later, you're all still there.

The best days at Faire rarely end when you planned for them to.

Most people don't arrive at Knightfall expecting to discover their new favorite band.

They come because their friends talked them into it. Or because they wanted an excuse to wear the outfit. Or because somebody promised them a good time.

Then a few songs in, they're looking up tour dates.

The Wellermen will be performing at Knightfall for one night only.

A lot of people are about to understand what all the fuss is about.

You check the time and immediately decide it must be wrong.

You could have sworn you got there an hour ago.

Somehow you've wandered through the marketplace three times, watched two shows you didn't plan on seeing, had three different conversations with complete strangers, and completely forgotten about whatever you were supposed to do when you got home.

The Spokane Renaissance Faire has a way of making entire days disappear.

And honestly, that's part of the appeal.

One of the things that surprises people about the Renaissance Faire community is how many attendees eventually decide they want to learn how to make something themselves.

Maybe it starts with a piece of armor. Maybe it's a costume. Maybe it's seeing a chainmail artist at work and wondering how it all comes together.

Then one day you're sitting in a workshop making your own.

Our next Chainmail Workshop is coming up, and it will be the last opportunity to take this class until January.

If you've been thinking about learning, don't wait for "next time." The next time won't be for another seven months.

Details and registration can be found in the comments.
