Going into the long (and last) holiday weekend we got some new HO stuff for customers to enjoy. The Willamette cars are not new but they were out of stock for quite some time.

Also we have a new patriotic engine engine and I only have once so act fast.

Merica !!! I managed to get a hold of 2 of these limited AFT Bachmann HO 250th sets. They are limited to 1000 sets and are #'d inside the packaging for authenticity. I have the original Lionel HO freedom train set from 1976 but this one blows it away, and there are extra display cars coming soon.

I did get to play with the larger scale this holiday weekend. Thanks to the WIM crew for letting me hang around. We hauled an ex-SP&S f unit and single hopper to Potlatch then ran light to the Bennett lumber mill for some switching. Eventually heading back with 5 loaded center beams and 2 overloaded ballast cars that we eventually did empty and spread along the line. It was a long but enjoyable day.
