Ignite Community Theatre

Ignite Community Theatre Ignite Community Theatre has been providing performance opportunities for our talented Theater community since 2004. It takes a community to ignite a theatre.

Wanna help fan the flame? "Ignite" - to: stir, arouse, inspire, call forth, waken, bring warmth, stimulate, agitate, intensify, provoke, induce, incite, inflame, invigorate, quicken, sharpen, urge, prod, kindle - all wonderful concepts for the impact and enhancement that the theatrical arts can provide. A "Community" is more than a location. Community is also a goal; a discovery made when a group

functions beyond the expectations of its' participants; something to strive for and to be achieved. Community grows from honest effort, participation and fellowship. Ignite! Community theatre places a high priority on nurturing community within our theatre organization. A "Theatre" is also more than a place or a building. Theatre is an experience; a process; a performance for an audience; an Artistic endeavor. In the past 12 years, ignite! has invited our audiences to many venues and locations while exploring various ways to bring more theatre to our community and more variety to our Theatre. Ultimately, a "Community Theatre" is a collection of people pooling talents, resources and ideas in a collaborative, cooperative effort for the enjoyment of all involved. They call them "plays" for a reason, from the actor, director, technician, usher, audience or volunteer, at Ignite! the experience matters.

Sadly, we are forced to postpone our upcoming production of Moon Over Buffalo, and hope to reschedule later in the year.
Unfortunately it was too much to ask of the 2 highly talented actors who auditioned to play all 9 roles(including narrator) that needed to be filled.
