Don't forget that this Sunday from 1 - 3 pm The Scale House Market we will be starting the Beginning Knitting Class.

The class is designed for you to be able to cast on, knot, purl, and cast off a knit project.

Bring your family or your friends - each class comes with written instructions while in class, knitting needles, and yarn. The written instructions and video tutorials will be sent in an email after the class so you can remember all the steps we cover in class.

Join us for our new set of fiber arts related classes. Come crochet, knit, and srop spindle your way to a new hobby.

All of the classes will be located The Scale House Market in City of Spokane Valley.

Every Sunday either crochet or knitting classes wil be offered and the last Friday of July and August will be the drop spindle class.

Each class comes with supplies and supporting materials that you can take home and practice with.

Sign up on The Scale Houses website or at the register. Our next crochet class is Sunday June 28th from 12 pm to 3 pm.

Stop by The Scale House Market this Sunday June, 28th for our ongoing beginner crochet class. This class will be on a rotating basis, every other Sunday to accommodate all of the excited students we have. It is also a stand alone class, but you're more than welcome to stop in again.

Materials are provided and you get to take them home.

* Videos

Drop Spindle classes have now been finalized The Scale House Market for July 31st and August 28th, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Come see the farmers market and then learn how to spin yarn on a drop spindle.

Class space is limited to 10 people, but you keep the drop spindle and 1 oz of wool for spinning at home.

I wanted to thank all of you who have taken the time to look and interact with my posts and who have been kind enough to buy from me.

I am hoping this year I can make more hand dyed yarns that you love. I'm planning my next set of color ways and picking out yarn bases.

Hello All,

I have been away for some time dealing with the aftermath of knee surgery and recovery. However, I had a burst of energy today and whipped up 4 new color ways on 100% Superfine Merino hanks.

I'm glad to be back, somewhat.

I doubt I will be posting very frequently since I am still recovering and medical appointments are taking up a lot of time.

Feeling optimistic, I just had my first post op appointment and everything looks great. I just have to get over my intense anxiety at moving and touching my knee.
