It's awfully nice having volunteers with fun equipment to get things done at the rink. Thanks to the crew for getting the signs up tonight and a huge thank you to Pro Color Graphics for the sign donation!

We are getting there!

One of our great volunteers got the Zam running again today and we were able to clean up the snow and some of the bumps. There is still a ways to go to reach our target quality, but a few good hard skates will also help get the ice in better shape.

We will have volunteers out flooding regularly, so please be understanding if they are out getting the ice in tip-top shape.

The ice is slowly coming along. The weather has not made it easy, and the warm weather coming next week will be a challenge. There is ice down now, but it is still not in very good shape. We are hoping to have it looking better by the weekend.

For now, if you choose to use it, use extra caution as there are several bad spots still.

The forecast is finally looking good for outdoor ice!

Volunteers started laying water tonight to get the ground ready for next week's cold snap. We'll keep you posted on progress.

The Willmar WarHawks scrimmaged at the ODR Monday morning to celebrate they're big come from behind win Saturday night!

Last night was a busy one at the ODR! River Lakes Stars from Mini-Mites to Bantam had fun enjoying some pickup pond hockey.

Thanks to the hard work of our volunteers, the snow has been cleared and the rink is ready to skate!

We still need to get a lot of water down on both rinks, so please be understanding if we have volunteers out flooding the rinks.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of our rink rats! If anyone got new skates for Christmas and are looking for a place to donate your old ones we would love to have them! We are trying to get a collection of all sizes of skates so we can share our love of skating with anyone who wants to try it out! We will take skates in any reasonable condition and get them cleaned up and sharpened!
