St. Christopher Summer Festival The St. Christopher Summer Festival will be held June 19-20, 2026. IGC License #002422 | IGC Reference #162405

As one of the oldest festivals in the state of Indiana - founded in 1937 - the St. Christopher Summer Festival has held it's annual event every year with the exception of 1942, when the United States entered World War II. The Festival was also cancelled in 2020, 2021, and 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and major campus construction. The Festival has grown to be one of the largest events in Speedway.

Due to a technical glitch, we still have 3 of the original 5 beautiful hand-made quilts available on our silent auction. We've extended the auction until 12:00pm ET on June 30, 2026.

Two of the quilts are 48" x 48" with patriotic themes. The third is a 32" x 27" detailed Sunflower Bouquet.

We want to extend another "THANK YOU" to those in the community - Parishioners and beyond - who came to the rescue with dessert donations for Saturday night. It seems every sweet-tooth in town came out Friday night and cleaned us out!

We'd be remiss if we didn't extend a huge shout-out to our long time friends at Town of Speedway. They are always great partners and supporters of the parish and festival, but this year they went above and beyond as we navigated permits, logistics, and coordination with many Town departments.

Thank you to Speedway Communications, Fire, Police, Streets, the Town Council...and any others we're forgetting in our day-after brain fog. This Town obviously knows how to handle enormous events and crowds, but they don't overlook us "little guys".

We extend a huge thank you to Huesman Amusement Company for putting on such a great carnival this year. We haven't had rides at the Festival since 2019, and we are overjoyed by the return!

And yes, we're already in discussions regarding next year! We just need to align calendars to find dates that work for all parties.
