And just like that, Painting Through the Storm has left my corner of my room.

Today I dropped it off for the 5th Annual Palettes of Waterford. This is my third participating, and this piece has definitely been a journey.

Work in progress: Painting Through the Storm 🎨🌲

This piece has challenged me more than I expected. There have been moments I've loved it, moments I've questioned every brushstroke, and moments I've wondered if I'd ever find my way through it. Yet here I am, still showing up, still adding layers, still trusting the process.
Funny enough, the painting itself feels calm and quiet to me. Maybe that's the lesson hidden in it. Sometimes the storm isn't what we see on the surface. Sometimes it's what we work through to reach the stillness on the other side.

Welcome to Artsy Outsider 🎨

This page is both my creative space and a place to share the art that lives in my head and heart.

A lot of what I create isn’t made for a specific purpose or person. I make it simply because I feel connected to it in the moment. Sometimes it starts with emotion, sometimes inspiration, and sometimes just the need to create something real.

You’ll find paintings on mirrors, windows, wood, stone, paper, tiny ACEOs, and honestly anything else that inspires me enough to turn it into art.

Some pieces will be messy, emotional, dark, soft, strange, colorful, or completely experimental. Some may not make sense to anyone but me, and I think that’s part of what makes creating beautiful.

Artsy Outsider is my place to create freely without rules, expectations, or needing everything to fit neatly into a box.

So whether you’re here for the creativity, the emotion, the chaos, the texture, or just curiosity... welcome to my little studio corner of the world. 🖤✨
