Some of us learned the intricacies of cable crochet and unlocked the mystery of crocheting in from and behind other stitches. Others just wanted to practice and have moral support for learning the magic circle. Either way, I believe all the students finished the evening satisfied.

Made my way out to Stitchburgh PA to get my passport stamp for the payarnquest from underhillfarmcreations . I found more yarns and materials to add to my stash. I canā€™t wait to start using all my great finds.

Tina Hays had to travel this one separately but my daughter aylaāœØ and my sonā€™s girlfriend, Eliyanah Van Sickle kept me company.

This just in!! I received my farm blend fiber back from Carrie Davis today. Itā€™s beautiful, soft , and luxurious alpaca yarn. 90% alpaca / 10 % merino in DK weight. Perfect for hats, cowls, mittens, or fingerless gloves. Ultra soft to the touch. I canā€™t wait to start dying some of it. Itā€™s too pretty to dye it all. šŸ„°šŸ”„

Like a proud parentā€¦. While strolling through the home show department of the Warren County Fair, I came across this blue mushroom needle felt landscape and instantly recognized the work performed by one of my students earlier this year at the Barber National Institute. Super fun, super relaxing outdoor class at the beautiful Kat St.Pierre grounds. The sunset was gorgeous, new friends were made, and beautiful flowers were created. Canā€™t wait to return in Fall for another class.
