Honored to partner with The Johnson Collection and Wofford College’s Art Department for a gallery talk, Things We Carry: A Veteran’s Reflection on A Soldier’s View. My eight years of military service have shaped so much of who I am today, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share a little of that journey. Looking forward to an evening of art, storytelling, and reflection on the things we carry and the stories that connect us.

Sometimes the people who make us feel seen don’t even realize how deeply they’ve impacted us. A grandmother. A child. A friend. Someone who simply showed up, listened, loved us, or reminded us that we mattered.

Together We Rise was such a meaningful day. 💛

Healistry was proud to be a sponsor for this year’s Spartanburg Recovery Movement event and create a space for community, creativity, hope, and healing. I had the opportunity to paint a tree that community members helped bring to life by decorating leaves with words, stories, and messages that will eventually be added to the piece. The finished tree will hang in the Spartanburg Recovery Movement office at the Spartanburg County building. From the leaves to sand art and recovery bracelets, I loved seeing children, families, and adults create together while hearing so many stories of recovery, resilience, and hope. Our journeys aren’t always linear. There can be setbacks, growth, healing, and new beginnings along the way and we need each other through all of it. For those in recovery, those still struggling, and those we carry with us who are no longer here: your story matters, help is here, and you are not alone.

Together, we rise. 🌳💛

Find the Good Day was such a beautiful evening! 💛 Families, kids, and adults created art together and answered one question: What good do you find in yourself?

Joy, creativity, love, empathy, compassion, optimism and so much more filled our collective canvas.

So grateful to Junior League of Spartanburg for inviting Healistry to be part of it. Here’s to continuing to find the good in ourselves and in others. 🎨✨
