This morning, USC Upstate’s Sociology of the Arts students were at the ArtsUp Gallery preparing for Creating Community: Profiles of Spartanburg Artists in Social Context. ArtsUp SC is excited to invite you to this dynamic evening celebrating connections between students and local artists. As part of our ongoing work to connect students with Upstate creatives, this collaboration highlights professional artists across Spartanburg and the region through student-created profiles.

Join us tonight, Monday, April 13 from 6:00–8:00 PM at the ArtsUp Gallery (146-C E. Main St., 2nd floor). Free and open to the public, with light refreshments provided—we hope to see you there!

ArtsReach, a new outreach initiative by ArtsUp SC, is dedicated to expanding access to the arts and connecting communities across the Upstate. ✨

Launching this effort is Golden Grooves, a vibrant traveling performance series bringing live music and dance to senior living communities. From classical favorites to 60’s hits, this dynamic showcase will debut in Spartanburg. 🎶
