It doesn't always mean saying no to everyone else.

Sometimes, it means saying yes to the things you've been putting off.

Yes to rest.
Yes to quiet.
Yes to the things that make you feel like you again.
Yes to making space for your own needs, not just everyone else's.

Choosing yourself can be as simple as pausing long enough to ask:

“What do I need right now?”

And giving yourself permission to listen to the answer.
