I just hit 1K followers (what!? 🤯) so I thought I'd re-introduce myself!

Hi, I'm Danielle (Dani or D to my friends) and I live and breathe art every day. I am the Outreach Coordinator and Manager of .artstudios as well as the Arts & Outreach Director of the ...which are two fancy titles that mean I herd cats (aka try to get artists to follow directions) for a living.

When I'm not organizing or installing local art shows, I'm Mom to an amazing 13 year old daughter and artist trying to find my voice after so many years in the commercial art world. I enjoy reading, tattoos, coffee, and live music with my friends. Art in all forms makes my world go around, so if you've read this far and are a fellow artist, say hello!

Blessed be the new project,
for it is always genius at 2 a.m.

Blessed be the art supplies,
purchased in devotion, never to be used.

Blessed be the sketch,
abandoned halfway for a shinier idea.

Blessed be the masterpiece,
finished in a single sleepless burst of glory.

Blessed be the cycle,
for without it, we’d have no chaos—or magic.

The finished piece shown installed and lit in the gallery at the reception, along with my best friend without whom this piece would not exist. Thank you for the invaluable help and inspiration.

Saints & Sinners will be on display at gallery inside Chapman Cultural Center until October 14th.
