Clevedale, "where history meets hospitality," is a 4 acre events venue with accommodations. The property dates back to 1798 when it was a 440 acre homestead.

Come experience the magic! Clevedale Historic Inn & Gardens is a Bed and Breakfast and Event Venue amid luscious English gardens. This 1913 homestead is rich with the history, hospitality, and graciousness of the old South while having been renovated with modern conveniences for your comfort. Choose from any three beautifully appointed bedroom suites with private baths or our newly renovated 1947 Southern Railway caboose dubbed The MackRail Cabin Car for your stay. Or choose one of our seven venues to host family and friends for your next special event. Clevedale is "where history and hospitality meet!"

I’m excited about tonight! I also am nervous as I prepare my acceptance speech. I never want to be a stumbling block to anyone and especially to the young girls in the literacy program, Brown Girls Read. So, with prayer and thought, I write.
