The Showroom

The Showroom The Showroom has quickly become Spartanburg’s creative hub. The move is changing the landscape of a now up-and-coming area in Spartanburg.

With art exhibits, regional and national live music, film, theater, and community events, The Showroom is a cultural gathering spot, housed in a former Nash auto dealership, circa 1928. With art exhibits, regional and national live music, film, theater, literary and community events, The Showroom is a cultural gathering spot! The Showroom is housed in a three-story brick building, circa 1928, loc

ated at 149 South Daniel Morgan Avenue and HUB BUB Way in downtown Spartanburg. The venue name is a nod to the building’s automotive past, paying homage to its original use as a Nash auto dealership. The Showroom has forged not only figurative ground but also literal ground, moving into a building in downtown’s west end across from the old Spartan Grain mill. The building is also home to the offices of HUB-BUB. The gallery is free and open to the public Monday–Friday from 10am–5pm. Check the Event Schedule for more opportunities to visit the gallery and attend the many events occurring every week at The Showroom. Parking is available to visitors in one of several adjacent parking lots. A cash-only bar offering beer and wine is open at most events. For more information on how to perform/exhibit/show/read in our space

The Showroom is available for private/community events on a limited basis. For more rental information, please contact Stephen at [email protected] or 864-582-0056.

A couple of months ago, Spartanburg native and banjo legend, Buck Trent, met up with the Spartanburg Herald-Journal's Dan Armonaitis and Tim Kimzey at The Showroom for an interview and video. Buck is an amazing musician with some great stories to tell. We hope he'll put on a public performance the next time he passes through.

Country music multi-instrumentalist Buck Trent was born and raised in Spartanburg, SC. He became proficient on the banjo in his teens and went on to work with country music stars Porter Wagner, Dolly Parton, and Roy Clark, among many others.

There's nothing Shane Pruitt enjoys more than making music. And for the past six years, the Spartanburg native has gotten to pursue his passion as the leader of his own self-named group.
