Our Fall Trapshooting League starts next Thursday the 27th! This league will run for 8 weeks and then we will have a late fall Handicap league. Open to all skill levels.

Just a quick reminder, Trapshooting and S***t will be closed until Wednesday August 19th. This allows us time to get the Grand American packed up and changed over. Sporting Clays has resumed public hours and is open.

On display during the Grand American is a special tribute to America’s 250th. This stunning Eagle on the liberty bell was designed and created by Roeslein & Associates, Inc. in Red Bud Illinois. We are proud to display their tribute during the AIM Trapshooting and Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) Grand American. Stop by and see it in front of the Event Center.

We have been hard at work on many Grand American projects the past few weeks. One last minute approval was the changing of our field lighting. We previously had metal halide, which can be troublesome with age. We are just finishing up converting all 16 lighted fields to LED. The picture doesn’t do justice to how much brighter they are. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!

Please bring some cooler weather though…

Grand American target load in is half way done! 238 pallets of White Flyer Targets will go in our traphouses before the first shot is fired. That’s over 2,000,000 targets to start. When it’s all over close to 4,000,000 targets will be used during the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) Grand American!

Short on targets for the Grand American? We have you covered this Saturday. This will be the last chance for some registered targets at the Complex before the Grand American.

The Trap and S***t line will be closing at 2:30 today due to the extreme heat advisory for Randolph County. All disciplines will be closed tomorrow as well for the 4th of July Holiday.
