Artist Spotlight: Inspired by Nature

For Lisa Joppie, inspiration is often waiting right outside the door.

A stand of trees.
A colorful flower.
A quiet boat floating on the water.

Those simple moments become the starting point for many of her watercolor paintings.

Lisa is especially drawn to watercolor's ability to capture light, movement, and softness while still allowing vibrant color to shine through.

"Usually something I've seen in nature inspires a new piece."

Her work invites viewers to slow down, notice the beauty around them, and appreciate the peaceful moments that often go unnoticed.
