Tomahawk Lake Waterpark is celebrating their 71st spectacular year entertaining parents and children alike, Tomahawk Lake Waterpark is conveniently located just one hour from the George Washington Bridge in Sparta, New Jersey. The park grounds are situated on 200 breathtaking acres that come complete with everything a family could ask for including an 18-hole miniature golf course, rustic outdoor beer garden featuring live music on the weekends, refreshment stands,a souvenir shop, softball field, horseshoe pits and volleyball areas, an old fashioned picnic area with more than 800 tables and New Jersey's largest white sand beach featuring a crystal clear 20-acre lake for swimming and boating!
Parents and older children will be swept away by Tomahawk Lake's mountain of incredible water slides and rides such as BLACK SNAKE SLIDE, a fast and furious ride through the darkness into the lake, SIOUX-A-SLIDE,the 70ft. high speed slide that goes straight into the lake, SITTING BULL the 400 foot body slides that end up in a 3 1/2ft. chlorinated pool, GERONIMO, the one-person water coaster that skims across the lake, the awesome ROCKY MOUNTAIN serpentine slide that spans over 500 feet into the lake, APACHE PLUNGE mammoth 610ft. raft ride for the whole family and CRAZY HORSE RUN racing slide.... great to challenge your friends!
To make sure that younger children have as much safe and FUN times as their parents, Tomahawk Lake provides a fun-filled Kiddie area in "Papoose Land" where youngsters under 4 feet tall can play on water slides, climb on the giant turtles and frogs, ride on the lily pads, tangle with a 21-foot rubber log snake and enjoy the giant fish slide! Or visit "Cherokee Corner" for persons 5 foot or less to enjoy the Tomahawk Tipping Bucket, a fun trampoline raft, Giant Lily Pads, a rolling log, Tom Sawyer Raft and a showering canoe.
We accommodate groups both for catered and non-catered picnics. All you can eat and drink all day catering is done under huge red and white circus tents for groups of 50-2000 people. We do all the work and you enjoy the day! Catered picnic prices include admission.
