Update: Police just notified us that they have made contact with the party involved in this damage to the sidewalk. Thank you to everyone that shared this post.

Looking for your help! This morning the City of Sparta poured a concrete path to provide an easier accessible route to the restrooms at the Chatty Kathy Playground in Memorial Park. It appears 3 individuals decided to go under the caution tape and drive across the concrete. The concrete has set up too much for a repair to the damage. This damage was done for sure between 11:15am- 12:38pm but we have reason to believe it was close to the noon hour based information gathered today. Any help assisting with who may have done this please contact the Parks and Recreation or the Sparta Police Department.
