We are a Children's Theatre Local Company here in Sparks, Nevada! Each Semester we put on a show that is performed by specifically children!

Children's Theatre classes to accommodate children from ages 5-18! Classes are held every Monday time specific to your child's age. At the end of the semester there is a performance that takes place at Spanish Springs High School Theatre. Class Times:

4:00-6:00PM FOR AGES 5-8
5:00-7:00 FOR AGES 9+

Class entails rehearsals for the musical along with education in music, dance, acting, skills for

auditioning, and fun! This Semester Vocal Motion Musicals presents: Matilda Jr! This is a condensed version of the Broadway Musical. It is the perfect level for the beginning performer. The show runs one hour and has lots of speaking parts. While every student will be on stage, and many will receive a speaking role, this class is audition-based for the lead parts. In this class, children learn how to audition for a show, receive in-depth vocal training, as well as classic musical theater dance training and character development for a musical. Nate has been a part of Vocal Motion since his first production with Newsies at age 6 and is thrilled to be joining the cast of SpongeBob this semester! This is a special production for Nate in more than one way — not only is it his last semester as a Little, but he also gets to debut as a Big by voicing Gary, all while performing alongside his cousin Gabe. When Nate isn’t on stage, you can find him swimming with his swim team or enjoying a good sushi dinner!

Baylor is a girl who loves life!! She is extremely creative in all the things she does! She has always loved music and dance. Some fun facts about Baylor… she is ambidextrous (but favors her left hand). When she was 2 years old, she had a video of her go viral… maybe you’ve seen it… she was the cute corn dog girl, dancing to Beyoncé’s song, “Crazy in Love”. That was a crazy fun experience! Baylor is so easy to love and her family and friends love her SO much!

Archer is almost 10, and loves the creative outlet that Vocal Motion provides! He’s a talented illustrator, master Lego builder and loves going mountain biking with Dad.

Isla is 9 years old, this is her first year with vocal motion. Outside of this she has been doing gymnastics since she was 3 and ballet for a few years. She loves to be outside and playing with friends. She is very artistic and creative. She has a heart of gold and loves being a good friend.

Vera is 7 years old. This is her second show with Vocal Motion Musicals! When vera is not on stage she is spending time with friends, practicing the drums, riding her bike, performing science experiments or creating things with arts and crafts. She’s excited to keep participating in shows and perform on stage. It’s one of her favorite things to do!

Gibson is 7 and excited to be in his 3rd play with Vocal Motion. He enjoys being with his twin sister and friends at rehearsal. Gibson also loves to play basketball and the piano. He is excited to be on stage again!

Marilla is 7 years old and in 1st grade. This is her fourth production with Vocal Motion. When she isn’t at rehearsal, she also loves to play with her siblings, swim, and play piano. She is excited to perform again this semester!

Alexandria is 5 years old, this will be her 2nd production with Vocal Motions and she loves it! When she’s not in theater, Alexandria loves to play barbies, color, do school, and snow ski.

Jules is a bundle of personality and pure joy! She has been with Vocal Motion for 3 shows now and has loved every second. She loves making people laugh and lighting up the stage with her animated expressions and big charisma. Offstage, she’s just as wonderful — kind, caring, and always ready with a hug. Jules hopes to become a director someday so she can run the whole show! She is so excited to perform for you tonight!

Brynn is a bright and spirited first grader who was born with a flair for theatrics. This is her very first play, and she is thrilled to be following in the footsteps of her big sisters, Teaghan and Tenleigh.When she’s not acting on stage, Brynn is usually putting on a full performance at home for her family. She loves to sing, dance, and swim, and her creativity shines just as brightly offstage. An aspiring artist, Brynn is constantly drawing colorful pictures and leaving sweet love notes for the people she cares about. She is so excited to be part of this production and hopes you enjoy the show!

Evelyn is 9 years old and shining bright in her very first musical! This is her second Medleys show with Mrs. Kaelyn and Mr. Chandler, and she truly feels at home on that stage. She has been dancing ballet since she was just 2 years old, and after her very first recital, we knew she was made for this. Watching her perform is pure joy — her confidence, her smile, and her big heart light up the room. When she’s not rehearsing, she’s twirling at ballet or chasing her newest love, basketball. We are so incredibly proud of the beautiful, brave, and passionate girl she is becoming.

Gabriel is 7 years old. This is his first musical! When he is not in Vocal Motion he loves to ride his bike, play baseball, and watch wrestling. He has loved being a part of the Vocal Motion Family!

Penny is 9yrs old and this is her first time doing a show with Vocal Motion Musicals. When she is not at Vocal Motion, she is doing Hip-Hop, Gymnastics, reading, jumping on the trampoline, or singing her heart out. She is extremely excited to be in SpongeBob and hopes to be in more shows in the future!

Anthony is a fun loving adventurous self proclaimed animal expert. SpongeBob is his first vocal motions play and he is excited to play a sardine. He can be found playing Nintendo switch and sharing interesting animal facts during his downtime.

Alex is 7 years old and this is her first performance with Vocal Motion Musicals! She enjoys playing soccer, reading and watching Harry Potter, and playing the Astro Bot video game. Her family loves her humor, kindness and zest for life!

Madilyn is 6 years old and this is her first show with Vocal Motion Musicals. Outside of Vocal Motion you’ll find Madilyn loves snuggling her stuffies, flamingos, to swim(without a life jacket), to play with her brother, cousins, and animals, and hearing her Papa tell stories, especially about flamingos. Madilyn is so excited to join Vocal Motion!

Afton is 11 and happy to be part of her fourth show with Vocal Motion. She loves to read, play piano, and try lots of sports. She is enthusiastic about everything and fun to be around!

Raegan is 14 and this is her seventh production with Vocal Motion Musicals. She loves reading, music, singing, and going on adventures. If she cannot be found she is usually in the garage making a new slime creation.

Colette is 14 years old and heading into High School this next year. This is her 4th show with Vocal Motion Musicals where she has enjoyed roles such as Young Kangaroo, Iago, and Miss Hannigan. She is excited to be a sardine this round in Sponge Bob. When Colette is not singing she is usually drawing or practicing her trumpet which she just started this semester (yay us!). Otherwise she loves hanging out with her friends and family.

Emily’s love of theater keeps growing with each play she does. She loves to sing, act, and dance. She now has Peter Pan, Ariel, Suessical, Annie, and soon to be SpongeBob under her belt. In addition to theater Emily also enjoys swimming, reading, and hanging with her friends. She may be small, but she is mighty!

This is Halle! This is her 4th musical with Vocal motion and 6th musical overall. If she is not on stage performing, you will often see her painting, playing guitar, or hanging out with friends. She fun, energetic, hilarious, and kind. And looks forward to being on Broadway someday.

Jordyn is 13 years old and thrilled to be making her debut with Vocal Motion Musicals! She loves hanging with friends, turning everyday moments into dance routines and hilarious skits. She’s always finding ways to help others, and sharing kindness wherever she goes. She loves listening to Christian worship music and isn’t afraid to share her faith and love for Jesus.When Jordyn isn’t at rehearsal, you can find her playing the piano or ukulele, dreaming up her next performance, trying (very creatively) to convince her family that they absolutely need a puppy, and loving on every baby she meets. Her joy, humor, and bright spirit light up every room she walks into.

Janelle is 11 years old and thrilled to be performing in her fifth production. She loves being on stage with her castmates and always gives her best to every role. Her passion is music—she enjoys singing and playing the piano. When she’s not performing, Janelle loves to draw, read, and spend time with family and friends.

Echo is almost 12, and has loved being in Vocal Motion with Ms. Kaelyn for the last 6 years! When she’s not singing, dancing or acting, she’s directing her own mini-plays at home with her siblings, or practicing the viola.

Leisel loves learning the harmonies in each musical. She is excited for her different roles in this musical. In the fall she starts high school and is excited to try out her singing talents there. Leisel is also great at basketball, reading, and being a great friend.

Addilyn is 11 and this is her fourth production with Vocal Motion Musicals. She loves arts and crafts, camping, and making people laugh. When she is not doing theater she is at American Heritage Girls or playing with her siblings.

Sophia is 13 years old and this is her very 1st show! In her spare time she likes to snowboard, read, cook, bake, and do nails. She also enjoys relaxing watching TV or playing games.
