Wonder what it's like to take lessons?

Here's an average lesson:

We start with exercises and warm ups. These help you get your larynx in a healthy neutral position, (ground your voice) increase your range, and work through all of your breaks.

Then we will work on a song of your choosing. You'll work on the same song for several lessons to perfect it. First you'll sing through it with no instruction, so I can assess your voice. Then we go through it bit by bit. We strip all the style from the song and get down to your natural, raw voice and practice it there using exercises along the way to help you learn the melody, reach higher or lower notes, and master difficult riffs.

After that process is over, we add style and performance back into your natural voice. This is where the song becomes meaningful to you and makes you feel something.
