Utah Valley Children's Choir

The mission statement of the Utah Valley Children’s Choir is to “Sing for the Lord”. HI-LO CHOIR
(Ages 6-9 - Wednesdays 3:45-4:45 p.m.)

We are a private Music Academy that uses sacred religious music to teach spiritual values and improve singing skills. The Utah Valley Children's Choir consists of four separate choirs to accommodate children at all different skill levels. The four choirs are: Beginning Choir, Hi-Lo Choir, Intermezzo Choir and Concert Choir. Descriptions for each choir are as follows:

BEGINNING CHOIR
(Ages 4-5 - Mondays 3:00-4:00 p.m.) Students in Beginning Choir build upon basic singing and performing skills
while engaging in both gospel-based and upbeat, activity-style songs. In
this choir we focus on strong unison singing and blending with the group. In Hi-Lo Choir students have fun as they learn to match pitch, blend with
others, and produce a good vocal sound. INTERMEZZO CHOIR
(Ages 10-15 - Wednesdays 5:00 – 6:00 pm)
After learning to match pitch and blend in Hi-Los we will add to these skills by learning to read sheet music, sing two part harmony, and prepare to audition for Concert Choir. CONCERT CHOIR
(Ages 10-18, by audition only, Saturday 7:30 – 9:30 am)
The Concert Choir brings together 150 of the most advanced students in our music education program. These youth, ages ten to eighteen, make a serious time and energy commitment to learn and produce quality music that invites the Spirit of the Lord. The youth meet each Saturday morning from 7:30-9:30, to refine both their talent and commitment and prepare for bi-monthly performances. In addition to thirteen+ professional recordings, the Concert Choir has toured Great Britain, the Eastern and Western United States, parts of Canada and Mexico to bear witness of Christ through music.

We're counting down the days! Choir tour kickoff happens on July 9th with our concert in Spanish Fork and then we're on the road bringing the choir to Brigham City, UT, Nampa, ID, Central Point, OR and Redding, CA!!! Will you be joining us at any of these stops?

The big night is almost here!
Join us for our FINAL UVCC Concert of the season — a special evening where ALL of our students will take the stage and celebrate everything they’ve worked so hard on this year!

From beginning singers to advanced performers, this concert is full of beautiful music and joy. Families, friends, and community members are all invited to come support these amazing kids and enjoy a night of unforgettable performances!

Easter may have passed, but the message we felt so strongly is still with us—hope, joy, and the promise of new life through Jesus Christ.
And one of the most powerful ways we see those messages come to life? Through music.
There is nothing quite like hearing children sing with bright, sincere faith.
At Utah Valley Children’s Choir, we love helping children discover not just how to sing, but how to feel what they sing—and share that joy with others.
Here’s to holding onto that Easter light a little longer… and letting it shine through music every day because "who the Son sets free, Oh is free indeed!"

This past week, I found myself at the Salt Lake City airport, standing among a crowd of anxious, excited families welcoming home returned missionaries.

Have you experienced something like that? The waiting… the anticipation… the shared excitement with complete strangers. And then—there they are. Someone you’ve missed so deeply.

That moment, so filled with relief, joy, and overwhelming love, feels sacred and I can't help but wonder if Palm Sunday felt something like that.

As Jesus entered Jerusalem, people didn’t gather quietly. They came with energy, hope, and expectation. They waved palm branches and cried out, “Hosanna!”

They were longing, hoping, and rejoicing together. Their hearts had been waiting for this moment.

Tonight, the Utah Valley Children’s Choir invites you to come feel that same spirit. Through music, we’ll share the joy, hope, and rejoicing of Palm Sunday.

We’d love to see you there :)
