We have a very exciting meeting coming up on Monday.

We're meeting with a highly motivated potential investor, and we also have a potential new location lined up with an entirely New Concept still based around a HomeTown feel good atmosphere, amazing affordable food and live entertainment.

I'm pretty excited about what's in the pipeline and hope to have some big updates to share with you soon. Thank you to all of you who continue to Keep the faith!

People have asked for an update, sorry I have been swamped at my day job.

We are still working on Wolfie's. Unfortunately banks are hesitant to fund a 2 million dollar restaraunt project even with a 20% downpayment and sba backing, in a post covid world.

Any of you that are following our Wolfie's Off Main page or came to our parking lot party know that we have put a lot of time, money and energy into it and we still intend to do it.

We took the opportunity to back out of our contract so we wouldn't lose our earnest money, and so the sellers wouldn't have to sit on an empty building with us essentially holding it hostage while we figured out financing. We were almost through the lending process, but America First backed out at the last second without really giving a specific reason why, it really caught us all off guard as everything had been going really well.

That said, the specific location is still available (for now) and We plan plan make a new offer after we sell our rental property, hopefully beginning of the year.

Even if we can't get that location we will keep working on something. We had the opportunity to buy Dalton's in Payson, but passed as we specifically want to bring this to Spanish Fork, And that location was too small for what we intend to do.

We are absolutely interested in partners, investors etc at this stage to reignite the project. Otherwise it'll be a while so we can finish getting funding in place.

We have had a lot happen this past week and have some major turning point options coming available.

One is less desirable, but... functional. We have to opportunity to buy another existing steakhouse a town over, which would at least get us up and running.

The major cons to this are it is not in Spanish Fork, and I specifically want to do this IN Spanish Fork.

It also isnt as close to a freeway and might be less desirable as a destination location, and while we could do live entertainment inside it isn't on the scale of what we want to accomplish with Wolfie's as it is significantly smaller location.

We are however considering it.

The other option is that some large lenders have reached out to me about helping us finance the purchase of the sunglow as originally planned, we are pursuing this option and will know more Monday.

Things are proceeding stand by for updates.

Friends, we are looking for a new location here in Spanish Fork that we could use for our vision.

It breaks my heart to announce this, but our funding to purchase the sunglow property has fallen through, and we are at this time unable to meet our financing deadlines.

That means we have to pull out of our purchase agreement or we lose our earnest money, which we can't afford to do.

That also means that they will be publicly listing the property for sale and someone else will turn it into something else, eventually.

Wolfie's Off Main will still happen. I don't know when, or where, and there is the risk that if someone else beats me to a steakhouse here in town, then it may be pointless.

I'm devastated by this, as that location was exactly what I wanted for this vision, and I have a personal interest in re-habbing that end of town.

I have put so much time, effort, money and love into this, and so have you all! Our business plan is thorough and well thought out. Our design work is topnotch and evolving based on your input.

I have tried everything I can to make this work, and even enlisted the help of so many wonderful people in the community to make this work, but there are some hurdles I haven't been able to leap, no matter how I have tried.

The funds from our donation campaigns went to paying architects, designers, marketing people, permits licenses, and other fees as well as our parking lot event. However, if you donated to our fundraising campaigns and would like a refund while we figure this out, please message me and I will issue you a refund.

Friends, we are in crunch time meeting some financing deadlines, and are seeking help from serious investors.
I have put everything I personally can into making this work, including selling my investment property, liquidating my savings, borrowing from family and friends and taking a second mortgage out on my home, we are SO close but the time has come ask for help.
