⚽ Registration for the Fall 2026 Southwick InTown Soccer season is officially OPEN! ⚽
We are so excited for another great season and can’t wait to be back on the fields with all of our players in just a few short weeks!

Registration will close on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM. Once registration closes, we will begin building teams and finalizing rosters, so please be sure to register before the deadline.

⚽ WHAT IS INTOWN SOCCER?
For those who may be new to the soccer world, the Southwick InTown Soccer Program is a recreational-level program designed for kids beginning their soccer adventures. It is a great opportunity for players to learn the basic fundamentals of the sport, build confidence, make new friends, and hopefully develop a lifelong enjoyment of soccer.
The InTown program is available to children ages 4–12, depending on registration numbers within each age group.
📣 NEW THIS SEASON: AGE GROUPS & ELIGIBILITY
For Fall 2026, we have restructured our age groups and divisions to better align with the age-grouping and eligibility guidelines used by our travel program, school-age calendars, and other youth sports programs.
Instead of grouping players simply by “3 & 4,” “5 & 6,” etc., we will be using U4, U5, U6, U7, U8, U9+ and other age-based groupings as registration numbers allow. Our goal is to place players in the age group that is most appropriate for them while also helping kids consistently play alongside their classmates and peers.
PLEASE NOTE: During registration, you will be asked to enter your child’s school grade for Fall 2026. Please enter the grade they will be ENTERING THIS FALL, not the grade they just completed.
We will use both age and grade when creating divisions and rosters to help us make the best possible placements.
Based on registration numbers in the past, we currently anticipate having U4, U6, U8, and 9+ age groups, but these divisions are subject to change.
📅 FALL 2026 SEASON INFORMATION
The season will begin Saturday, September 12, 2026 and will consist of 7 games. There will be no games on Columbus Day weekend.
The regular season will conclude for all age groups on Saturday, October 31. The 1st and 2nd place teams in the U8 and 9+ divisions (if applicable) will then play in a championship playoff game on Sunday, November 1.
Our younger age groups, typically U4 and U6, will meet once a week on Saturdays for one hour, consisting of approximately 30 minutes of practice and 30 minutes of game time.
Our older age groups, typically U8 and 9+, will have one practice during the week, scheduled based on the coach’s availability, as well as one game each Saturday.
We will provide additional information about team assignments, practice schedules, and game schedules once registration has closed and rosters have been finalized.
👕 UNIFORMS
Please note that due to increasing program costs, and in an effort to keep registration fees the same, the registration fee will include a jersey only again this season.
Players will need black shorts and black socks for games. If your child does not already have these, please be sure to purchase them before the first game.

⚽ INTERESTED IN TRAVEL SOCCER?
If you are receiving this email and have a child who is interested in playing travel soccer, please reach out to us. Travel registration is officially closed, but depending on your child’s age and the team, there may still be space available. We will do our best to work with you to determine whether registration is still possible.
🚨 IMPORTANT FOR FAMILIES WITH 3-YEAR-OLDS
You may see a U3/U4 age group listed during registration. Please remember that our InTown program is intended for children ages 4–12.
We will consider registration for 3-year-olds only when the child is developmentally ready to participate in a group soccer program. Please only register your 3-year-old if you feel they are ready to independently participate in the activities, follow directions, and engage in a structured group environment.
🚫 TEAM PLACEMENT REQUESTS
To help us create balanced teams and place players appropriately, we cannot accommodate requests for specific coaches, friends, neighbors, or teammates. The only exception is siblings, who may be placed together when their ages and developmental levels make it appropriate.
