Contrary to the MassLive story, while we conceded the count was short of effecting a recall election, we did NOT abandon our mission for transparency and good governing, and we left the door open to future action. We also specifically stated that certification by town resources was not necessary, admitting the counts were more than 40% short of the total.

We appreciate the coverage but do wish to clarify that wording! :)

Citizens Reclaiming Southwick said its work is just beginning, however.

We do not have any signing events today but we are all around town today collecting signatures from folks who have called us and want to sign at home. WE WILL GO TO YOU!
