🍂⛳ Hello, October! It’s hard to believe we’re just one month away from closing the golf course for the season!

We can’t thank our customers and visitors enough for making another year at Golf of Maine a success. Every round, every laugh, and every visit means so much to us. ❤️

We’re open daily at 9 AM through October 31! Evening hours vary with the weather, but we do our best to welcome golfers later into the evening.

Come enjoy some fall fun and squeeze in a few more rounds before we close up for the season! 🍁⛳

Next up on the docket for awesome Acadia Chamber events is our 3rd Annual SWH Finish Line Festival!! 10/18/26 9am-3pm.

We can't wait to greet the Mount Desert Island Marathon runners as they cross the finish line, then grab a frosty cold b**r from Fogtown Brewing Company and a pleuthera of amazing local food vendor choices, as we rock out to live bands and celebrate this awesome Island wide weekend event!

Calling all teams, groups, and enthusiastic humans: Mile 25 needs YOU! 🏃💧

We’re looking for volunteers to run the last water station on the MDI Marathon route on Sunday, October 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. You’ll find mile marker 25 right in front of Golf of Maine at 55 Main Street, Southwest Harbor.

We provide the tables, water, and cups. You bring the positive energy! Signs, , musical instruments, and speakers are encouraged, but cheering loudly is plenty.

By Mile 25, runners are very happy to see a cup of water—and even happier to hear they’re almost done. Grab your team and come be their favorite people on the course! Message us if you’d like to take the station. Mount Desert Island Marathon Golf of Maine Acadia Chamber
