Some projects come with a little history. This one came with a little turf.

But not just any turf...actual pieces of Boise State's famous blue football field.

We had the opportunity to help create these commemorative memorabilia cards celebrating 40 years of The Blue, combining custom printing with a piece of one of college football's most recognizable playing surfaces.

It's a pretty small keepsake with a pretty big story behind it. And definitely not something we get to make every day!

The most successful businesses aren't necessarily the ones doing the most, but the ones who know what they shouldn't have to worry about.

For artists, galleries and frame shops, that means spending more time finding customers, creating opportunities and growing their businesses and not getting buried in the details of framing.

Of course, that only works when you've got a partner who can deliver.

We've spent years investing in our people, equipment and processes so our clients can spend less time managing us and more time doing what they do best.

That's the kind of relationship we want to build.

A little sawdust, a few power tools and some seriously talented people.

Take a peek inside our carpentry department and watch our team do what they do best. There's always something interesting taking shape, and we're pretty lucky to have the people who know how to build it.

(If only the projects actually came together this quickly though 😂)

A little Barcelona, a little Italy, right here in suburban Chicago.

We had the pleasure of welcoming a couple of our international moulding suppliers to Gemini, and they brought more than a few new samples. They also brought different perspectives and plenty of conversation about what's happening in the world of framing and design.

It's easy to think of suppliers as the people who provide the materials we work with, but the relationships behind those materials matter just as much. They keep us connected to new ideas, new possibilities and people who care about what they're creating as much as we do.

Thanks for making the trip and spending some time with us!

A guitar with this much character wasn’t going into just any display.

The worn edges, black finish and gold details already gave us a pretty strong design direction. So instead of treating the case as something separate from the guitar, those details were pulled into the case itself.

Black fabric creates the moody backdrop, and custom gold hinges bring a little of that vintage feel into the case itself.

One of our favorite parts of custom display work is that the item usually tells you what it needs. You just have to pay attention.

25 years. A lot can change in that time, but some people become part of what holds a place together.

Jeff has been with Gemini for a quarter of a century, and he's a core part of the team that keeps everything running behind the scenes. He keeps our warehouse organized and our facility looking great even when we've brought in just a little too much stuff (sorry, it happens!).

Jeff, thank you for 25 years of hard work, dedication and keeping us all in line. We're lucky to have you, and we hope you know how much you're appreciated.
