John caters to the local and regional music community and stocks all the equipment, strings, cords, etc. that local musicians might need “right
away!” A very well known and traveled regional blues and bluegrass player, John is a professional and accomplished luthier for all your set-ups, repair and re-builds. John Keiffer is opening STUDIO 105, ART AND DESIGN. Originally slated to be a personal working studio, the concept for STUDIO 105 continues to evolve. Gallery space is available for local and regional artist who want to exhibit their work in a funky environment promoting the music and arts. Co-op space, group paint outs, graphic design services, special event production, and . . . well let's just see where this all goes. Southport Johnnies will be actively promoting the local music and art community through our new website Southportmusic.org. Coming soon, the site will be a fun and funky event/calendar/magazine detailing every music and art event in the greater Southport area. To sum it up we have gallery exhibition space in our two musical showrooms, a special showcase “Wall of Fame” promoting local musicians and artists, a working art studio, a guitar and instrument repair shop, a private musical instruction room and a cool and new website. Gotta sell the T-shirts too! Not bad for two Johnnies from Southport, huh?
