Big news for the Festival ✨

The North Carolina 4th of July Festival is now officially a 𝟱𝟬𝟭(𝗰)(𝟯) 𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁! This exciting milestone means greater opportunities for grants, sponsorships, and community support—helping us continue to grow and enhance one of North Carolina’s favorite Independence Day traditions.

As we prepare for 2026 and America’s 250th Anniversary, this new status allows us to give even more value to our sponsors and donors while expanding what the Festival can offer to the more than 65,000 visitors who join us each year.

We've met so many incredible dogs, but Strike's story is truly inspiring. Nearly one year ago, while swimming in the river, he survived a terrifying alligator attack. With courage and determination, Strike fought his way back to the family he loves. He stands as a reminder that even our four-legged friends can show extraordinary bravery.

We offer our biggest tail wags and loudest barks of congratulations to Strike and his family, Bonner and Kara. And to all 79 dogs who entered, thank you for supporting the NC Fourth of July Festival. The response has been amazing!
