Sarah Sieloff (and co-founder Jessica Hall) opened Dance Avenue in June 2006 with the purpose of providing quality dance instruction in a friendly, exciting atmosphere. At Dance Avenue, we take immense pride in our students, families, staff and the Downriver area. Our hope is to instill a sense of love and trust in every dancer we have the pleasure of training, while equipping them w
ith the discipline, confidence and technical skill necessary to achieve future success. We strive to uphold our mission statement: To provide a high standard of dance education which cultivates not only technical dancers, but also caring, passionate and motivated individuals. We hire highly experienced and professionally trained instructors who share our vision and mission. Our team works together to guide every dancer to an advanced technical level while maintaining individual artistry and stage presence. We love what we do, and we are dedicated to sharing that love with our dancers and their families. At Dance Avenue we specialize in teaching Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Contemporary dance styles. Classes are available for dancers, ages three through adult, at beginning through advanced levels. Dance Avenue offers a state of the art facility, with two spacious dance rooms; beautifully painted and air conditioned with sprung-board hardwood dance floors and superior sound systems. Our award winning and nationally renowned Competitive Dance Team offers dedicated dancers the chance to take their technical training to a more professional level, with additional performance opportunities offered.
