Finally finished the first of 9 panels for a The Nightmare Before Christmas blanket. This is Barrel. One down, 8 to go. This was about 20 hours of work. I started with a smaller square just to see if I could get the pattern correct. Had to work and rework until I was comfortable with the outcome. Then I doubled my hook size and changed to double crochet instead of single to complete the final draft.

Day 3 of working on this square and it is finally starting to look like something!
