Jazz & Blues @ the Library was a monthly live music concert series featuring the very best local area jazz and blues music artists, since 2005. The series was produced by Don Mc Ghee, board member of the Friends of the Southfield Public Library, up to May 2025 (its 20th Anniversary month). It was sponsored by the Friends, a dynamic volunteer group that provides funds to support a variety of library programs, collections, services and events.

Mark your calendar for the next Jazz & Blues event!

March 18th at 6:30 pm in the Meeting Room

Jamie-Sue is thrilled to launch a new series dedicated to celebrating iconic artists through innovative musical arrangements. The first will feature music recorded by legendary singer Dusty Springfield and her hits and deep cuts from the 60's and 70's. Jamie-Sue Seal is a multi-talented musician who is a vocalist, award winning songwriter and dancer who most notably performed as a duo partner with the late John Latini. She will be accompanied on piano by Neil Donato who was a longtime band mate of John's as part of The Flying Latini Brothers Band.

Advanced tickets available for $8. Cash tickets available at the door. $7 general admission or $5 for Friends of the Southfield Public Library members. No charge for children under 12.
