Staccato Dance Works is a performing arts education center comprised of recreation dance classes and a pre-professional dance company. We boast the enrollment of some of Metro-Detroit’s most talented dancers ranging in ages 3yrs to adult. Our award winning competitive students range in age from 6yrs to 18yrs. We offer a multitude of disciplines including Ballet, Tap, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Contem

porary/ Modern and Vogue. Here at Staccato Dance Works we strive to nurture creativity and self-expression in dancers of all ages and experience levels. We promote the sheer love and passion for the art of dance. Staccato Dance Works provides community outreach by partnering with schools in the Metro-Detroit area to offer dance enrichment programs during or after school hours. Our instructors create age and skill level appropriate dance classes that will enhance the students’ school day and academic achievement. Each class is taught in a structured and inviting way, providing each student with leadership and cultural learning opportunities, while promoting physical fitness, positive self-esteem and artistic creativity. Our students learn more than just dance steps, they discover the steps needed to empower themselves and realize their true potential. Our handpicked staff of dance instructors transcends the traditional role of educator. As professional dancers themselves – many with degrees in dance – each instructor combines their own professional background with a unique ability to infuse innovative choreography, technique, theory, etiquette and professional development into their teaching. This dynamic approach allows students to discover how dance can truly unveil possibilities for today and beyond

Our Mini Session begins April 13th - June 1st

👉These classes do NOT participate in our annual recital.
💙However, you can always join a class that does next season!
👉They are a GREAT way to introduce dance to young students!
We know what it is like to have a child who wants to try EVERYTHING! This is a low commitment way to give dance a try!

We know there can be a lot of things to get in order to start a dance class! Let us help you by gifting you a leotard & tights.
👉Tuition is based on age group:
- Kinder Dance (3 - 4 yrs) $125
- Mini Dance (4.5 - 5 yrs) $160
