It's my very, very great pleasure and honor to announce that this week's guest for Waterloo Wednesday at El Mercado's Backstage on S.1st in good ol' Austin, TX is my old friend and Texas music icon, Shake Russell!!! A genuinely GREAT songwriter and entertainer, Shake's songs have been recorded by more stars than you can shake (sorry 'bout that) a stick at. I'm talking about top ten HITS! A truly unique artist!!! My band of brothers and I always have an absolute blast playing with him! Come join us! You won't be sorry!

This week's guest for Waterloo Wednesday at El Mercado's Backstage on S.1st in good ol' Austin TX is my old friend, Jim Hoehn. I produced a couple of his CD's some years ago - one in Port Aransas and one at my studio, Blue Sugar Audio. Jim is all about writing, be it as a career sportswriter or as a successful trop-rock singer/songwriter. His lyric-driven songs, featuring cool characters and compelling stories, have been on the Americana charts in Europe and have received quite a bit of play on Radio Margaritaville. Come join us for some great music and, maybe, a margarita or two...
