In honor of International Women’s Day, we’d like to reintroduce the woman behind the bar ✨💞

Hey everyone im Jojo the owner of BOA Mobile Bar. Here is a little back story on how boa came to be.
I didn’t just stumble into this industry I was raised in it. I grew up in bars and restaurants. Both sides of my family owned bars, and hospitality has always been part of who I am. I started working in restaurants at 15 and began bartending at 18, where I quickly fell in love with the creativity behind crafting cocktails and building unforgettable experiences for people.

More than anything, I come from a line of strong, hardworking, independent women. The work ethic, strength, and heart that my mother and grandmother showed me are a big part of the reason I’m here today. As a proud Puerto Rican woman, passion, culture, and resilience are at the center of everything I do🇵🇷❤️

My goal with this business is to deliver a luxurious, premier bartending experience while still keeping the energy fun, welcoming, and unforgettable. I want every event to feel special.This isn’t just a job for me it’s something I genuinely love. Creating cocktails, bringing people together, and building something of my own has always been the dream and the dream doesn’t stop here.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support women-owned businesses like mine. Because of you, I get to work toward my goals and dreams every day. It’s truly the highest honor to be part of so many special occasions and moments in people’s lives.

As this year comes to an end, I’m reflecting on how far this journey has taken me 🤍
There were moments filled with self-doubt, fear, and wondering if I was doing enough or if I was even doing it right.
But every booking, every event, and every word of support slowly turned that doubt into confidence.
To every client who trusted me with their special moments thank you for believing in me, even when I was still learning to believe in myself.
To my friends and family who never stopped supporting me,encouraging me,and reminding me to keep pushing I truly could not have done this without you.
This business is more than what you see online. It’s growth, resilience, and choosing to keep going even when it felt scary.I’m so excited for 2026. To see how much we grow, to bring all of our ideas to life, and to share the incredible events and moments we have in store.
