DeSoto Central Middle School Choirs The program is made up of four choirs: 6th Grade Choir, Aurum, Amethyst, and Cantabile. The DeSoto Central Middle School Choir program is directed by Mrs.

Kimberly Hunsucker, a graduate from Delta State University with a Bachelor's in Music Education with a Vocal emphasis. The program is made up of five different choirs: 6th Grade, Treble Ensemble, Treble Choir, Male Ensemble, & Women's Chorale. The 6th grade choir is open to any 6th grade student wanting to learn the basics of choir and how to read music. The other four choirs are made up of 7th and 8th grade students and are audition only.

Hi folks! I wanted to send a few reminders: Auditions for DCMS Choir for 26-27 will be tomorrow (May 12th) after school. Students will come directly to Choir room after school. Most students should be finished around 4:45. Auditions for 8th grade students who wish to sing in the DCHS Choir will be Thursday (May 14th) afterschool. Additionally, our Solo & Desserts Awards Banquet is this Friday (May 15th). It will be at 6pm in the DCMS Cafeteria. This is a free event. Parents are welcome to attend. Attire is semi-formal. Thanks y'all!

Good morning DCMS choir parents!

Our itinerary was sent out last night. Please be sure to download the MyTrips by WeTravel app. This app will house everything you will need for the trip.

As a reminder, the only thing students are REQUIRED to pack is their Gray choir T-Shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes. We will wear these for the performance. If your student has lost their shirt, any plain Gray shirt will be fine.

Additionally, there are water rides at the park so having a poncho or towel might be wanted.

Let’s get ready to show off those amazing voices and have a great time.
